On the outskirts of a typical Catalan village, with views of the Canigou mountain and overlooking the vineyards to the Pyrénees, this charming gite is literally a haven of peace and tranquility. Forget the stress and unwind as you lie by the private pool; enjoy breakfast on your patio area in the garden and listen to the birdsong; take a stroll through the vineyards and watch the beautiful sunsets.
The accommodation has a fully fitted kitchen along one wall, with a hatch through to the verandah so you can pass your meals through! There is a dining table and sitting area (with a corner wood-burning stove and a piano!). The bedroom is cosy and has glazed doors that can be closed for privacy or opened to allow light and access. Stairs from the sitting area lead up to a mezzanine area where there is a double bed, dressing table, and comfortable sofas. The gite has been lovingly restored and converted in the traditional style – it has all the amenities you could need but we have kept the Catalan ‘character’ using reclaimed materials. The building is attached to the main house but totally separate with no shared amenities – it has its own entrance, private garden, and private pool.
Prices range from 1000€ per week in High Season – to 1000€ per month for long lets.
